California Triplets Pregnant at the Same Time: Excited and Thrilled

A trio of sisters from California are sharing a special bond as they all become pregnant at the same time. Gina Purcell, Nina Rawlings-Tran and Victoria Brown are all excited to welcome their babies by the end of this year.

Brown, who already has a 2-year-old daughter, is due to have a baby boy first on July 9th. Rawlings, the middle sister, is expecting her first child, also a boy, on August 28th. Purcell, the eldest, will have her third child, a baby girl, in November. She already has an 8-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.

Although their pregnancies were not exactly planned, the sisters are thrilled to be going through the experience together. They are sharing their food cravings, mood swings, and other aspects of pregnancy with each other, making the journey even more special. Rawlings says that when Brown announced she was pregnant around Thanksgiving, she had a feeling it was going to happen. The sisters are excited to see all their babies together, making the whole experience even more surreal.

Rawlings followed suit about a month later, around the Christmas period, when she announced that she was also expecting. Rawlings stated that once she and Tori found out about their pregnancy, they encouraged Gina to get pregnant as well. Although this would be Gina’s third child, she was hesitant initially because her children were getting older. However, after some consideration, they decided to try and got pregnant. Rawlings stated that this was a fun and lucky coincidence.

Purcell, on the other hand, explained that she had gone through a miscarriage a few years ago and, after that, she and her husband decided that they were done having children as they already had two. However, she mentioned that over the past year, she couldn’t shake off the feeling that she wasn’t done and still wanted a third child. When she saw her sisters getting pregnant, she realized that they weren’t getting any younger and decided that it was now or never. This was the extra push she needed to make a final decision.

Rawlings, who is having her first child, finds it especially comforting to be pregnant alongside her sisters who have already given birth before. She stated, “Having my sisters around and talking to them about their experiences has definitely helped me ease my nerves and feel more at ease, but of course, it’s still scary as it’s unknown territory. Having my sisters there to support me is invaluable.”

The sisters will deliver their babies at The Women’s Hospital at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills, with OBGYN Dr. Daniel Sternfeld. Dr. Sternfeld shared that he was taken aback when he realized that the triplets were all pregnant at the same time and had their appointments on the same day, although at different times. He expressed, “It’s such a unique and interesting story to have three close-knit sisters who are having babies within months of each other. I’m just excited to be delivering all of them.”

Rawlings went on to say, “We have always shared everything with each other, but now that we have this shared experience of pregnancy, it’s just surreal. We share everything, from registry items to tips we see on Instagram and news stories, everything. Being able to share this blessing with our best friends makes it even more special.”
