What Are The Famous Kids Of 1997 Like Now?

Despite their previous struggle to conceive, Keппy and Bobbi McCaυghey decided to expand their family in 1997 and turned to fertility drugs to increase their chances of a safe and healthy pregnancy. To their surprise, three months after an ultrasound, they learned that they were expecting not one, not two, but seven babies.

The physicians were surprised by the good health and well-being of all the infants, who quickly gained media attention and became widely known. However, the couple began declining requests for interviews and photos when the septuplets turned 10 in 2007. Now, these babies are approaching adulthood as they prepare to turn 20.

The first surviving septuplets, Kenny, Kelsey, Natalie, Brandon, Alexis, Nathan, and Joel, will soon turn 18 on November 19 at their home in Carlisle, Iowa.

The McCaughey family recently shared their incredible story and how they received financial assistance from President Bill Clinton during their pregnancy, in an interview with NBC News. They were also invited to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s show, and various companies offered to help them with their finances and other amenities.

According to reports, during the initial months after birth, the Sᴇᴘᴛᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ needed 42 formula bottles and 56 diaper changes per day. However, they received a lot of help from the community, including a year’s supply of macaroni and cheese, a minivan, a 5,500-square-foot house, and a two-year full scholarship to any Iowa state university.

The McCaughey family still lives in the houses provided to them by the government, and they express their gratitude for the help they received. With the assistance they received, they were able to raise their seven children.

Their friends and family were always there to help them out. Raising eight infants is challenging, but according to Bobbi, seeing them smile and grow into wonderful people makes it all worthwhile.

Alexis and Nathaп, two of the children, were born with cerebral palsy but have since undergone successful surgeries. Alexis now works with underprivileged children and shares her experiences with them. The couple also has a daughter named Mikayla, who is 22 years old, married, and a mother.
